No. ALL versions of S1 can import .wav files but for .mp3 support you need either Producer or Professional.
Of course you can always just convert your .mp3's to .wav with any of the many free conversion programs out
there.

Hi there.
I am running the latest version of studio one here and just tried to import an mp3 with no luck. I have no idea why Studio One wont allow me to as I understand that it can do it.
Other than that,Studio One is my fav DAW. Also wish they would have pre-fader metering in the next update.

Hey guys, just joined the Presonus family, stoked to join all of you! This is my first post so here goes..
I just got a FireStudio Project with Studio One Artist. I was pretty bummed when I learned you can't import mp3 into S1. I'm a drummer and wanted to be able to record along with songs for covers and everything, so I thought I was gonna have to download some converter in order to import songs to play along with. I did some searching and found this article/post/whatever and learned that you can convert mp3 into WAV with iTunes. It took me less than a minute and I already have the song imported and ready to be recorded with =).
Here's the link, hope it helps!

Cytomic The Glue Software Compressor Plugin

Cytomic have gone to great lengths to mimic the sound of the famous SSL bus compressor, with its unique ability to 'glue' things together. How does their plug‑in compare with established offerings from Waves and UA? Cytomic are a rather new company, but do not lack in experience when it comes to making plug‑ins.
